Joining the kitchen crew means that you will spend all, or part, of your day in the kitchen preparing meals for all of camp! Kitchen crew are their own family group, and do not have additional work practice. They also do not attend morning coffee circle (when working in the morning) or Family Dharma circles that overlap with the kitchen’s meal prep time. Note: This role is best suited for seasoned campers who know the menu and are willing to give up some of their regular camp time to help prepare food for the rest of camp. Don’t worry though! All campers will get time in the kitchen for their family group work practice!
